Aaron Lewis has finally found his calling. Besides cheeseburgers.

I remember Staind. Not a bad band for the time when nu-metal was in full effect. It got really old with the angsty lyrics though. Then Aaron Lewis went solo alot and brought the solo with him on casino tours for a few years. He was like the Debbie Downer of rock, where every song was about being morose and dissatisfied. Enter 2010 and Aaron Lewis appears to have found his niche. Like Darius Rucker before him he's gone country. And it suits him just fine. In a genre where the core of country is about being a redneck alcoholic with a truck and no girlfriend because you're a redneck alcoholic, Aaron's style of songwriting suits just fine. Check out the video and let me know what you think.

Aaron Lewis is as country as Kid Rock and Uncle Kracker. It's nice, but his voice doesn't work for me here. I'd rather hear him do the same only melancholy shit he's been doing for years.. the formula works, why mess with it?

He's as country as those two but not nearly as much of a douchebag. I really don't care much about the song in general I was just saying that country is a perfect arena and logical place for his poor me type of songs.
