The nice, cleancut boys from Ohio have finally wrapped up touring. I'm kidding of course about the clean cut part. But here is the quote from Scott Hedrick on what the band has got planned for next year.
"A huge thank you to the bands, the fans, and everyone else involved in the tour -- except that one promoter; fuck you, dude! Kidding! Anyway, we had a fucking blast as usual. It's hard not to when you're traveling around the country with your best friends and your job is to party and shred. In the meantime Skeletonwitch will be releasing a limited edition...here let Mark Viera of Prosthetic Records give you the 411:
'When we wake up from the impending holiday blackout, we'll be devoting all of our time finishing the next record. So keep an eye out: as the writing process continues, we'll probably book a few dates and debut some new material. Thanks to everyone who supported us in 2010. It's been a great year! Cheers and beers!"
Prosthetic Records has launched the pre-order for the second chapter of a 7" trilogy; the first installment was released in November and has sold out.
Part II, which will be on green vinyl, will feature a recently re-recorded version of "The Skullsplitter," a track that originally appeared on the band's self-released debut album "At One With The Shadows." The B-side, meanwhile, is "No Rest For The Dead," a song recorded with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, High On Fire) during the "Breathing The Fire" sessions (and, coincidentally, also a re-working of a song from "At One With The Shadows"). This version of "No Rest..." was originally used as the iTunes bonus track for "Breathing The Fire," and has never been released in a physical format until now. This is limited to 500 copies and will not be repressed! Order yours now: http://ht.ly/3shCa
I seriously dig this band though I won't be getting any vinyls since I don't have a record player. But if any of you are fans and want to be a part of an elite 500 people then head over to that link and gets yours.
