Soundgarden Continues Comeback by Releasing First Live Album. Ever.

Photobucket

It must be that time in a music cycle when all of the bands from a previous era decide to get back together and see if they're still relevant. Just a few short years ago it was all of the hair metal bands. Now we have the Seattle scene starting with Alice in Chains a couple of years ago. Pearl Jam never really left just stayed out of the media eye. Dave Grohl and Krist Novaselic are colloborating for the next Foo Fighters album. And now we have Soundgarden who are staging a comeback. They played some shows last year and released Telephantasm which was basically a greatest hits and other goodies album. Now word is out that they are planning to release their first ever live album. I'd be interested in hearing some new material personally. Though never a huge Soundgarden fan I liked quite a bit of tunes back in the day until they all started getting played to death after the band went defunct.
