I Just Found Out Scale the Summit Is Great.

I'm admitting right now I'm brand spanking new to this band from Houston as I write this. I'm listening to their tunes on their Myspace and its good prog metal stuff. Kind of like what Dream Theater of late should have been minus the vocals. Well I've been getting the press e-mails from Prosthetic Records about the new album and such and yes they seem to be a continuation of a growing amount of instrumental prog musicians that are part of a good trend. Cloudkicker, Tre Watson, and Animals as Leaders for example. So though I'm late to the party here is the information about Scale the Summit's third and latest release 'The Collective' due out March 1st. As soon as it becomes available to me I'll be doing a review on it. Tour Dates and Track listing after the jump.

The Collective Track Listing:

01. Colossal
02. Whales
03. Emersion
04. The Levitated
05. Secret Earth

Scale The Summit is great driving music for long trips when you don;t want to punish the family with guttural vocals. Great melody.
